Tips to crack AIEEE 2009

1.AIEEE is not difficult. However, its questions do have a need of being tackled with different tactics and perspectives.
2. Select your questions wisely. About 25% questions in the examinations paper are easy, 50% are average and 25% are difficult. Attempt easy questions first.
3. Don’t get nervous while solving and try to do 70% of the paper, it’s enough to get admission in NITs or a good college so, if you just solve easy and average questions correctly, you can easily get through. Once you have exhausted these questions, you may attempt difficult ones to make merit.
4. In AIEEE, both speed and strike rate matter. You need to be quick and accurate to achieve high scores. High speed with less accuracy can actually ruin your results. For it right choice of the questions must be done so that you don’t waste time on difficult question and leaving them without getting the answer and wasting 1 to 2 minutes. Remember most of the students don’t clear AIEEE because they make this mistake.
5.There is no subject cut off in AIEEE. so you can maximize your score by scoring good marks in your strong subject However, scoring in all three subjects help in getting top ranks.
6.Students should go through all the formulas and key concepts on Saturday. Some previous years AIEEE paper-practice might be of great help. You should practice of solving the papers as per time schedule same as they will have for actual exam. This will set their body clock also and will not feel tired and sleepy during the actual paper.
7. Never attempt Math first. It may ruin your performance in the exam.
8. Try to give about 45 minutes to chemistry, 55 minutes to physics and the rest to mathematics and also spare 5 minutes in the end to recheck.
